  • NASDAQ OMX® has published an updated version of the NASDAQ OMX Global Data Policies document.
  • Distributors are required to begin following the updated Global Data Policies as of the date the information was originally communicated in previously released Data News items.

What is changing?

NASDAQ OMX has updated the NASDAQ OMX Global Data Policies document. Distributors are required to follow the updated version of the Global Data Policies as of the date the information was originally communicated in previously released Data New items.

In order to streamline the ordering process, NASDAQ OMX continues to offer a single data polices document for all NASDAQ OMX data products.

Which policies have been updated?

NASDAQ OMX has not made any material change to policies. NASDAQ OMX has only incorporated current policies—previously posted as Data News Items—into this version and edited the document throughout for clarity.

NASDAQ OMX has made the following updates to the data policies:

  • Enhanced the Delayed Data Policy to include more data products and provide clarity for End of Day Information.
  • Enhanced the Unit of Count Policy for clarity as well as including the Managed Data Solution and Hosted Solution information.
  • Updated the Annual Administrative Fee Policy to include all data sets.
  • Updated the Enterprise License Policy to include all four Enterprise License offerings.
  • Updated the Usage Reporting Policy to provide clarity and to include the new Late Reporting Fee information.

In addition, in response to feedback from market data Distributors and Subscribers, NASDAQ OMX used the plain English initiative, sponsored by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as a guideline to improve our communication. NASDAQ OMX will continue to seek additional ways to improve the policy documents and fee schedule and will announce such revisions wherever possible.
